Classification Survey

Vessels trading in international seas are required to comply with the rules and regulations of safety and environment. International Maritime Organization is in charge of these rules and regulations. Classification societies organize regular surveys to ensure if the vessels meet the technical standard requirements. Shipowners require a certificate from a classification society in order to register the vessel. This certificate demonstrates that the vessel meets the classification standards.

Atlas Shipping is authorized by 13 of these classification societies and has authority to use ID cards granted by these classification societies. We organize classification surveys for shipowners on regular basis and carry out the necessary documentation process.
